Terms of Service
Effective date: 2026-04-10. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of ShotWeave (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Use of Service
You may use the Service only in compliance with these Terms and applicable laws. The Service may include features that allow you to create, upload, submit, store, send, or receive content (“User Content”). You are responsible for your use of the Service and any User Content you provide.
- You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use the Service.
- You agree not to misuse the Service or interfere with its normal operation.
- You agree to provide accurate information when requested and to keep it updated.
2. Accounts & Security
If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
- Do not share your password or access tokens with others.
- Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
- We may require you to reset credentials if we reasonably believe your account has been compromised.
3. Payments
Some features of the Service may require payment. Prices are listed in USD unless otherwise stated. Taxes may apply depending on your location and are your responsibility unless indicated otherwise at checkout.
- Authorization. By providing a payment method, you authorize us (and our payment processors) to charge the applicable fees.
- Recurring charges. If you purchase a subscription, it may renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel to stop future renewals; cancellation does not retroactively refund already-paid periods unless required by law or stated in these Terms.
- Price changes. We may change prices with advance notice where required. Price changes typically apply at the next renewal period.
- Charge failures. If a charge fails, we may retry the payment, suspend paid features, or downgrade access until payment is resolved.
4. Refunds
We aim to be fair and transparent. Unless a different policy is displayed at checkout for a specific product, the following applies:
- 14-day refund window. Eligible purchases may be refunded within 14 days of the purchase date, provided the request meets eligibility criteria described below.
- Eligibility. Refund eligibility may depend on the type of product and usage (e.g., significant consumption of digital content or completion of services may render the purchase ineligible).
- How to request. Submit a request via the contact details in Contact, including the email used at checkout and the purchase identifier if available.
- Processing time. Approved refunds are typically processed back to the original payment method. Timing depends on your bank/payment provider.
- Non-refundable items. Certain items may be non-refundable where permitted by law (e.g., custom work already delivered, fees charged by payment providers, or clearly marked final-sale items).
Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws.
5. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, and other materials (excluding User Content), is owned by ShotWeave or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
- License to you. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal or internal business purposes (as applicable to the plan you purchased).
- Restrictions. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract source code except as permitted by law.
- Your content. You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, and display User Content solely to operate, provide, and improve the Service.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to engage in any activity that harms the Service, other users, or third parties. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:
- Uploading or distributing unlawful, harmful, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or deceptive content.
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or networks.
- Introducing malware, scraping the Service in a way that overloads systems, or bypassing access controls.
- Violating the privacy or intellectual property rights of others.
- Using the Service to send spam, phishing messages, or unsolicited promotions.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
- We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
- We do not warrant that any content or results obtained through the Service will be accurate or reliable.
- You are responsible for your own backups and for maintaining appropriate security on your devices.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShotWeave and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, suppliers, and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
- Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for all claims will be limited to the amount you paid to us for the Service in the 3 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim (or 100 USD if you paid nothing), unless a higher amount is required by law.
- Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, or if required to comply with law, or to protect the Service and users.
- You may stop using the Service at any time.
- Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.
- Sections intended to survive termination (including Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, and other similar provisions) will survive.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to provide notice (for example, by posting an update on this page with a new effective date). Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
